LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman forward
Gabby Worthy (Bremen, Ga.) of the LaGrange College women's soccer team capped off an amazing rookie season as she has been voted the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Rookie of the Year in an announcement by the conference on Thursday.
Worthy scored seven goals with two assists for the Panthers in 18 games, while twice being named conference Rookie of the Week and once being recognized as the CCS Player of the Week for week ending September 28
th, 2025.

Kaine Baker said of his star rookie. "She's had an excellent first year with our program and has performed very well. She is very deserving of her accolades as an all-conference play and the rookie of the year. Everyone affiliated with our team is very proud of her!"
In addition to the Rookie of the Year superlative, Worthy was also voted second team All-Conference. In just her first season, she finished the regular season tied for fourth in total goal scoring.
Behind Worthy's performance, the Panthers claimed the sixth seed in the upcoming CCS playoffs.
Sophomore midfielder
Jordyn Rawlings (Newnan, Ga.) was named to the CCS All-Sportsmanship team.
LaGrange is back on the field on Saturday when they travel to Piedmont University for the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) quarterfinals. Match time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
