LaGrange College women's soccer lost their first in-conference game, 1-0 to Covenant in a physical match.

The Panthers were on attack all throughout the first half. Crosses, accurate upfield passes and good corners were all working but the Panthers could not stuff in a goal. The first half remained scoreless. 

In the second half, Rachel Wall took a great high shot to put Covenant up 1-0 in the 48th  minute. Both teams continued to play hard and physical but were not able to score the rest of the match. Covenant won 1-0.

Panthers goalkeeper Cassidy Abbott saved an impressive 11 shots in today's game. 

The team travels to face Oglethorpe on Sept. 19, at 7:30 p.m.
