Visiting Berea edged LaGrange 1-0 in a USA South match Saturday. The Panthers slipped to 1-6 on the season and 0-2 in conference play.

Berea (1-7, 1-1 USA South) got the match's only goal in the 53rd minute. Madilyn Hord scored off Sierra Massucco's corner kick for her first goal of the season.

The Panthers had several opportunities after the score but could not convert on any. LC outshot Berea 13-7 in the match, with both teams having four shots on goal.

The Panthers host Millsaps on Sunday at 3 p.m. in a non-conference match. Seniors DeAundra Green, Ashley Jacobson, Kelsey Lewis, and Taylor Vardeman will be recognized before the match.
