Belhaven topped LaGrange 2-1 in a non-conference match Thursday night at Panther Field. The Panthers are now 0-3 on the season.

Senior Sydney Aronson scored off a penalty kick with less than four minutes left in the first half. The Panthers carried the lead into halftime.

Belhaven (1-2) tied the match 13 minutes into the second half on an unassisted goal by Amber Thomas. The Blazers got the go-ahead goal in the 80th minute when Jessica Mahoney's shot caromed off the far post into the goal.

Sophomore goalkeeper Jesse Grogan had nine saves in the match. Belhaven held a 21-6 shot advantage over the Panthers.

The Panthers host Berea on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
