DECATUR, Ga. - LaGrange ended the 2016 season with a 2-1 loss to Agnes Scott in a USA South match Sunday.

The Panthers finished the season 2-14-4 and 0-11-3 in conference play. LC had 13 of its matches decided by two goals or less.

In Sunday's match, all of the scoring came in the second half. Agnes Scott (7-9-1, 5-8-1 USA South) scored first, but the Panthers evened the match on Taylor Poole's fifth goal of the season. Rachel Jenkins assisted on the play. Erin Innis got the game-winner for the Scotties in the 84th minute.

DeAundra Green had a career-high 14 saves in goal for the Panthers.

The match was the final one for three seniors: Poole, Sydney Aronson, and Paige Smyth.
