DECATUR, Ga. - Andrea Richard got the game-winner as LaGrange edged Agnes Scott 2-1 in a non-conference match Tuesday. The Panthers improved their season record to 7-4-2.

The two teams played a scoreless first half. Sydney Dorsey broke the tie with her team-leading 10th goal five minutes into the second half. Dorsey took a head pass from Katie Harrison and beat goalkeeper Sydney Holstad.

The host Scotties (2-7) evened the match eight minutes later on Emily Kirk's goal. Richard put the Panthers ahead to stay in the 80th minute for the 2-1 final. Brittany Gray fed Richard with the ball with a pass through a gap in the Agnes Scott defense.

Courtney Slauson got the win in goal for the Panthers. Slauson had three saves in the match. The Panthers had a 13-10 shot advantage, including a 7-4 shots on goal edge.

The Panthers host Averett on Saturday and Greensboro on Sunday in USA South matches. Averett is the defending conference champion and ranked 10th in the South Atlantic Region.
