Women's Soccer: Panthers rout Wesleyan to stay unbeaten

MACON, Ga. - LaGrange rolled to its third straight win; routing Wesleyan 9-0 on Thursday at the Matthews Athletic Center. The Panthers improved to 3-0 with their third straight shutout.

The third straight shutout ties a team mark set last season. It is the first time in the program's history starting the season with three straight shutouts.

Sophomore Sydney Dorsey and junior Brittany Gray each scored three goals for the Panthers. Dorsey has five goals in the last two games.

Freshman Jade Cotton scored her first collegiate goal. Sophomores Elise Hopson and Kaylan Whetstone each had a goal.

Sophomore Courtney Slauson made her first start of the season in goal. She only faced one shot on goal in the game.

The Panthers finished the game with a 35-1 shot advantage. In three games, the Panthers have a 42-4 shots on goal advantage over their opponents.

The Panthers host Agnes Scott on Saturday at 7 p.m.
