HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Panthers peppered Owls goalkeeper Callie Aerni with four shots on goal in the first half of play.
- The second frame saw much of the same, as the Red and Black pressed to find the match's first goal. Both teams put together multiple high-danger chances towards the contest's outset, but ultimately could not capitalize as the clock struck double zeros.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange junior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Sharpsburg, Ga.) enjoyed her second start of the season, leading the shutout in net for the Panthers.
- LaGrange freshman forward Gabby Worthy (Bremen, Ga.) led the charge offensively for LC with a pair of shots on goal.
- Warren Wilson's Callie Aerni posted the four-save shutout as she ultimately thwarted the Panthers' scoring attempts.
