WEST POINT, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's soccer team lost 7-1 at Point University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the River Bowl Stadium in West Point, Georgia.
THE BASICS
Score: Point 7, LaGrange 1
Records: Panthers 0-2, 0-0 CCS | Skyhawks 4-1-1, 0-0-0 AAC
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 2-0 in the opening minutes of the game, the Panthers got on the board when LaGrange freshman forward Gabby Worthy (Bremen, Ga.) found graduate defender Madison Dekker (Columbus, Ga.) on a pass in the 17th minute as the captain scored LC's first goal of the season to cut the lead to one. That was as close as it would get, however, as Point pulled away.
