LAGRANGE, Ga. – Entering the 2026 season, the LaGrange College football team has been picked to finish first in the USA South Athletic Conference Preseason Poll as voted by the conference coaches and as announced by the conference on Friday.
LaGrange, the defending conference champions, was placed atop the rankings for the first time in program history receiving 48 total points and six of the possible eight first place votes. The Panthers are coming off their best season in school history as the Panthers went 10-2, winning the USA South Championship for the first time and reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Aaron Hunter (Dothan, Ala.) was picked by D3Football.com as a Preseason All-American, anchoring an offensive line that returns four starters.
The Panthers open their season on Saturday, September 5
th when they play host to cross-county rival Point University in a 7:30 p.m. game at Callaway Stadium.
