ATLANTA – The LaGrange College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational hosted by Georgia Tech at the George C. Griffin Track & Field Facility in Atlanta, Georgia, on Friday and Saturday. The meet was the Panthers' final competition before the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championships next week
TOP PERFORMERS.
- Freshman Ryheem Mighten (Kingston, Jamaica) set the first-ever LaGrange school record in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 49.00, good for 34th place out of 65 runners.
- Freshman A'mya Hill (Fitzgerald, Ga.) clocked in with a 12.43 in the women's 100-meter dash, finishing 68th out of 89 runners.
- Freshman Roman Brown (Covington, Ga.) clocked a 50.17 in the men's 400-meter dash, coming in 54th place out of 65 competitors.
- Freshman Khristian Bell (Tyrone, Ga.) competed in the women's 100-meter dash, finishing 82nd of 89 competitors with a time of 12.61.
- Freshman Fabian Coleman (Atlanta, Ga.) led the Panther's in the men's 100-meter dash, coming in 44th of 105 with a time of 10.87.
- Freshman Kevanique Hill (George Town, Cayman Islands) posted a time of 1:10.88 in the women's 400-meter dash, coming in 69th of 69 competitors.
