ATLANTA, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Emory Spring Break Classic hosted by Emory University at Woodruff PE Center Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Freshman A'mya Hill (Fitzgerald, Ga.) posted a time of 12.31 in the women's 100-meter dash preliminaries. Hill later had a 26.01 in the women's 200-meter dash, also the best result for the Panthers in that event.
- Freshman Khristian Bell (Tyrone, Ga.) finished with a time of 12.38 in the women's 100-meter dash preliminaries, just .07 off Hill's time. Bell also had a time of 26.93 in the women's 200-meter dash, and a mark of 5.05 meters in the women's long jump.
- Freshman Ryheem Mighten (Kingston, Jamaica) continued to lead the Panthers, clocking in at 10.67 in the men's 100-meter dash preliminaries. Mighten then went on to finish with a time of 21.66 in the men's 200-meter dash.
- Freshman Roman Brown (Covington, Ga.) finished with a time of 11.05 in the men's 100-meter dash preliminaries. Brown also posted a 22.47 in the men's 200-meter dash.
- Freshman Fabian Coleman (Atlanta, Ga.) completed the men's 100-meter dash preliminaries with a time of 11.44. Coleman had a 23.13 in the men's 200-meter dash.
- In the men's 800-meter run, freshman Alan Vidrio Buen Rostro (Lawrenceville, Ga.) finished with a time of 2:15.34, as well as a time of 4:48.85 in the men's 1500-meter run.
- LaGrange competed in the men's 4 x 200-meter relay, as the team of Mighten, Brown, Coleman and Vidrio finished with a time of 1:31.91.
UP NEXT
- LaGrange is back on the track on Friday and Saturday when they travel to the Morehouse Relays hosted by Morehouse College in Atlanta.
