LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman Khristian Bell (Tyrone, Ga.) of the LaGrange College women's track and field team has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Field Rookie of the Week award for the week ending March 29th, 2026, in an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.

Bell delivered a standout all-around performance at the Emory Thrills in the Hills meet last weekend in Atlanta, competing across sprints and jumps. The freshman placed third in the long jump with a mark of 5.43 meters and added a 13th-place finish in the triple jump (10.85 meters), with both marks setting new school records and landing her a first-place spot in CCS rankings this season. Bell also competed in the 100 meters (12.41) and 200 meters (26.49).

Bell is the first student-athlete from the LaGrange women's track and field team to earn a CCS weekly award. She currently holds the LaGrange school records in the long jump and the triple jump.

LaGrange is back on the track this weekend when they travel to the Embry-Riddle Classic.
