Box Score LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College baseball team won 15-5 over visiting Asbury University in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Sunday at Cleaveland Field in Williamson Stadium in LaGrange, Georgia, taking two of three from their weekend series.

TOP PANTHERS
- LaGrange freshman pitcher Aiden Pluff (Richmond Hill, Ga.) posted his best start of the season to improve to 3-1, recording a career-high 12 strikeouts in just five-and-two-thirds innings and allowing just two earned runs.
- Senior catcher Colin Jones (Duluth, Ga.) went two-for-four with four runs batted in and a sacrifice fly. Jones stepped to the plate in the bottom of the sixth with two outs and the bases loaded and delivered a double down the left field line for the Panthers' biggest hit of the day.
- Sophomore designated hitter Erick Rodriguez (Lilburn, Ga.) went three-for-four with two doubles and two runs scored.
- Senior shortstop Jackson McElvy (Kennesaw, Ga.) went two-for-four with a walk, two runs scored and two stolen bases.
- Freshman right fielder Matthew Brown (Marietta, Ga.) went two-for-three with two RBI, two runs scored, a sacrifice fly and a double.
- Senior catcher Carson Burgamy (Woodstock, Ga.) had two hits with two RBI and two runs scored.

- LaGrange is back on the field on Friday when they travel to Covenant College for a three-game series against the Scots. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
