LAGRANGE, Ga. – Four student-athletes from the LaGrange College baseball team have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team as announced by the CSC on Tuesday for the 2026 season.

Graduate left fielder Jorge Fragoso (East Point, Ga.), senior shortstop Jackson McElvy (Kennesaw, Ga.), senior pitcher Trystin Merson (Dallas, Ga.) and senior first baseman Curt Bonner (Cartersville, Ga.) were recognized for representing the Panthers for their athletic and academic accomplishments.             

The Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.             

The College Sports Communicators – formerly CoSIDA – have recognized outstanding academics among student-athletes since 1952.
