PEARL, Miss. – The LaGrange College baseball team's pursuit of the 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championship has been stalled due to inclement weather conditions in Pearl, Mississippi, where the Panthers are competing at the CCS playoffs in Trustmark Park.

Fifth-seeded LaGrange (20-17, 8-10 CCS), the winners of Wednesday's game against second-seeded Belhaven University in the Opening Round, are still scheduled to face third-seeded Maryville College (26-15, 9-9 CCS) in the Quarterfinals Round of the playoffs. That game is now scheduled for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. CST, 12:00 p.m. EST.

It will be the Panthers' first game after a 72-hour break.
