LAGRANGE, Ga. – Senior shortstop Jackson McElvy (Kennesaw, Ga.) of the LaGrange College baseball team has been selected to the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. III All-Region Team in an announcement by the American Baseball Coaches Association this week.

McElvy was a force for the Panthers all season long, earning Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) All-Conference First Team honors in a season that saw him lead the Panthers in batting average, hits, OPS, runs scored, total bases, walks and stolen bases. McElvy's lead-off solo home run against Maryville on April 24th gave the senior 200 career hits and saw LaGrange take a lead they would never relinquish in a critical conference game. He finished his final season with the Panthers hitting .427 / .536 / .516 with 67 hits, 28 RBI and 27 stolen bases.

The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first introduced in 2007.
