LAGRANGE, Ga. – The accolades continue to roll in for senior guard
Laila Battle (Smyrna, Ga.) of the LaGrange College women's basketball after her historic final season with the Panthers as it was announced on Monday that she had been voted to the D3hoops.com 2025-26 All-Region team for Region 6.
Battle was voted Second-Team All-Region after a season that saw her average 17.4 points per game with 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 steals. Battle led the Panthers to their first Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championship in school history after a regular season where LaGrange earned the number one seed in the conference playoffs. Battle was voted CCS Player of the Year, CCS Defensive Player of the Year and CCS First Team All-Conference. Battle was further named the Most Valuable Player of the CCS Championship Tournament.
