LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman guard Adazhah Burrell (Melbourne, Fla.) of the LaGrange College women's basketball team has been named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 22^nd, 2026, in an announcement by the conference on Monday.

Burrell turned in a strong all-around week for LaGrange, contributing across multiple categories in 66 minutes of action. Burrell totaled 33 points while shooting 11-of-30 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free-throw line. She was also active on the glass and defensively, pulling down 20 rebounds to go along with six assists and six steals, securing the Panthers' top spot in tournament play.

Burrell will help lead the Panthers in the CCS Semifinals on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Mariotti Gymnasium.
