Box Score DECATUR, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's soccer team won 4-0 at Agnes Scott College in Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) action on Monday evening at Gellerstedt Field in Decatur, Georgia. It was a makeup of a game previously scheduled for this past Saturday. It is the first time the Panthers have opened their CCS play since joining the league conference in 2022, and the first time they've opened league play with a victory since 2020 when they were a member of the USA South Conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- LaGrange senior forward Kaia King (Canton, Ga.), last year's leading scorer, found her first goal of the season just 1:27 into the game when she knocked one through the bottom center of the net to get the Pilgrims on the board, 1-0. King scored again in the 23rd minute, giving LC a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
- LaGrange freshman forward Gabby Worthy (Bremen, Ga.), who two weeks ago earned CCS Rookie of the Week honors, slammed the door on the Scotties in the second half, scoring two goals in the second half, the second one assisted by King.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- LaGrange junior goalkeeper Anna Wright (Sharpsburg, Ga.) and sophomore goalkeeper Kendall Lewis (Atlanta, Ga.) combined for a shutout, each minding the net for a half.
- Agnes Scott junior goalkeeper Olivia Rosario (Westfield, N.J.) put on a heroic performance for the Scotties, tallying 14 saves.
- Shots were 28-11 in favor of the Panthers.
