LAGRANGE, Ga. - The LaGrange College Baseball Team (15-21, 7-8 Collegiate Conference of the South) is set to host rivals Huntingdon College this weekend (Apr. 25-26), as they look to finish the regular season strong against the Hawks (18-15, 7-8 CCS).

The Matchup
LC endured a tough series loss this past weekend to the regular season conference champions, Maryville College, who clinched the title against the Panthers. LaGrange looked like they were well on their way to victory in the first two games of the series, but could not finish the deal late as the Scots went on two steal both contests and win the capstone tilt 11-8 to earn the sweep and the right to host this year's CCS Postseason Tournament.

As for Huntingdon, they have struggled mightily as of late, consistently finding themselves on the wrong end of high-scoring affairs. The Hawks have allowed 106 runs in the past 11 games, good for 9.6 runs per game as they have won just two in that span. The Panthers will seek to take advantage of that discrepancy this weekend as the top-scoring offense in the CCS collides with their rivals' struggling defensive unit.

Players to Watch
Jorge Fragoso led the Panthers this past weekend with five RBI's off three hits, two for home runs as the Landmark Christian School product tried to will his team to victory.

The Hawks will look to their RBI leader in Sam Kelley for offensive production against LC. The sophomore out of Brewton, Al holds a batting average of .279 this season, laying down 34 hits in the process.
