Senior
Lindsey Swearngin started on the mound for the Panthers. It was all LC all game from the very start. In the first,
Claire Chamberlain and
Alexa Gonzalez put the Panthers up 2-0 after they each hit an RBI. In the second, LC extended their lead to 4-0 when a BC fielding error let two base runners score. The Panthers put the nail in the coffin in today's 8-0 victory in the fourth. During the this inning,
Alexa Gonzalez hit a two-run triple, followed by a
Zoe Veres RBI double and was closed out with a
Katelyn Minnihan RBI single. LC would win 8-0 through five innings.
Game two
Maddie Chauvin pitched in game two for the Panthers. During the first, LC grabbed a 2-0 lead after
Claire Chamberlain drove in a pair of Panthers on a single to right field. In the second, LC added three more runs after BC committed a throwing error and then dropped a pop fly by
Zoe Veres (bthrowing error allowed two-runs). During the third,
Katelyn Minnihan came in to pitch. In the following inning, Berea cut the LC lead to 5-2 on a two-run RBI double. The Panthers responded with a
Zoe Veres sacrifice fly RBI. During the fifth, Lindsey Sweargin crushed an RBI single to center. The Panthers won 7-2.Â

Claire Chamberlain kept BC scoreless and hitless in the four innings pitched.Â
Freshman
Maddie Chauvin pitched in game two for LC. In three innings pitched, she threw three strikeouts and allowed two runs off of four hits.Â
In the third inning of game two, sophomore
Katelyn Minnihan rotated in. She finished the day with seven strikeouts and zero hits allowed.
