Box Score LC Baseball dropped game one of the final home series 3-2 to Maryville College (April 26). 

Game details
LC started with Dalton Brooks on the mound tonight. In 51.1 innings pitched this season, the Sharpsburg, Ga. native has posted a stellar 2.81 ERA and a 6-1 W/L record. Game one remained scoreless until a Scots sacrifice fly to deep center allowed a base runner to score during the fourth. In the following inning, MC hit a solo shot over the left field wall, extending their lead to 2-0. During the sixth, the Panthers cut the visitors' lead to 2-1 after Curt Bonner hit a sacrifice fly RBI. Brooks stayed in the game until he was relieved by Eli Folds. Despite the bases being loaded and only having one out when he came in, Folds prevented the Scots from scoring. In the ninth, Adam Dorn hit a RBI single to tie the game at 2-2. During extras, the Scots grabbed a 3-2 lead on a RBI double. The visitors would hold on to win 3-2 through 10 innings.

Panther pitchers
Senior Dalton Brooks started in game one of the Maryville series. In just over seven innings pitched, Brooks threw a superb six strikeouts and allowed two runs off of eight hits. 
Sophomore Eli Folds rotated in for Brooks. In three innings, he let up one run off of two hits. Folds also struck out three batters.
