The first LC player on the mound today was
Nash Evans. In just over nine innings pitched this season, the junior sits with a 7.71 ERA currently. The Stormy Petrels quickly loaded the bases in the bottom of the first. With a man on each base, a walk put the Petrels on the board first. OU finished the inning up 4-0 after hitting a two-run RBI and a pair of sacrifice flies. In the following inning, LC responded by also loading the bases.

Joe Ruth added another runs when he hit
Fletcher Hislop home. In the bottom of the second,
Tyson Harnage relieved Nash on the mound. OU answered with three runs over the next two innings. In the third, Harnage rotated out for
Jack Richards. During the fourth,
Joe Ruth crushed a three-run homer to cut the OU lead to 7-5. Still in the fourth, the Stormy Petrels scored on an RBI.
Eli Folds came in to replace Richards in the seventh with the game still at 8-5 OU. Â In this inning,
Gabriel Pallo started the LC scoring run when he singled to center, driving in a Panther. LC tied the game at 8-8 after
Riley George hit a RBI single followed by a
Joe Ruth sacrifice fly RBI. Still in the eighth,
Colby Zinser was walked with the bases loaded, securing the Panthers a 9-8 lead. With two outs and? two men on, Jorge Forgoso hit a fielder's choice RBI. In the ninth, Â
Joe Ruth placed a great hit into deep center field for a two-run RBI double. LC held on to win 12-8.

Junior
Nash Evans pitched first today. In a little more than one inning thrown, Evans had one strikeout with five runs and six hits.Â
In the second inning, sophomore
Tyson Harnage came in for Evans. Harnage threw in 1.1 innings, finishing with two strikeouts, four hits allowed and two runs.Â
Senior
Jack Richards pitched for three innings tonight. He finished with two strikeouts and allowed only one hit.
Sophomore
Eli Folds came out to the mound for the Panthers in the seventh. Through two innings, Folds struck out four batters and let up just one hit. Both Richards and Folds pitched lights out in tonight's win.
