Box Score LC Baseball fell 1-0 to the Blazers of Belhaven in a defensive battle. The team returns tomorrow to close out the series with a doubleheader. Game one is at 2 p.m. and both games are streaming here. 

Game details 
Eduardo Peralta started on the mound in tonight's highly anticipated CCS matchup. In 28 innings pitched this season, Peralta currently holds a 2-3 W/L record with a 5.02 ERA. Through the first five innings it was shaping up to be a pitching duel. The two pitchers allowed only three runs and had yet to let up a single score. The game stayed scoreless until the Blazers grabbed a 1-0 lead on an RBI single in the eighth. BU held on to win 1-0.

Panther pitchers
Sophomore Eduardo Peralta was the lone pitcher tonight. In eight innings, he had five strikeouts and allowed only one run off of four hits. Despite not getting the win, Peralta pitched lights out.
