LC Baseball is on the road facing off against the Blazers of Belhaven in a three-game series. Game one is Friday (April 12) at 7 p.m., which will be followed with a Saturday (April 13) doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.

The teams
The Panthers are 17-7 (4-2 CCS). The last time the team played, they beat Oglethorpe University 12-8 (April 2). Dalton Brooks has been phenomenal on the mound this season. The senior currently sits with a 6-0 W/L record, posting a stellar 1.82 ERA. Colby Zinser holds a solid .377 hitting average, a team-best 1.071 OPS and leads the Panthers with homers (4). The Blazers are 15-12 (4-4 CCS) and they are coming off of a 1-2 series loss to Covenant College (April 5-6).  One player to look out for is pitcher Brett Sanchez. Sanchez was last year's D3baseball.com National Pitcher of the Year and has been playing solid so far this season. Currently, he has a 3-2 W/L record and a 2.84 ERA.
