The Panthers play in their first away CCS series this Friday and Saturday against Covenant College (March 29-30). Game one is Friday at 3 p.m. and the series wraps up with a doubleheader on Saturday.

The teams
The Panthers are 15-5 and coming off of an 8-5 loss to Birmingham-Southern (March 27). In that game, freshman third baseman Colby Zinser finished the day with a pair of hits and runs on three at bats. Sophomore Eli Folds pitched two innings and did not let up a hit or run. Folds also struck out two BSC batters. The Scots of Covenant College are 8-14 and they most recently lost 3-8 to Berry College (March 26). Kenny Mills leads the Scots with a .439 hitting average. Bryce Bollinger currently sits with a team-high 5-1 W/L record and a 3.00 ERA.

Recent history
