Game details
Caden Hare started on the mound for the Panthers tonight. In 14 innings pitched this year, Hare posted a 4.40 ERA. BSC jumped out to a 1-0 lead when they hit an RBI single in the first. Colby Zinser equalized the game in the bottom of the inning when he crushed an RBI double into center left. Jorge Fragoso put the Panthers up 2-1 after he hit Zinser home with a single. The visitors' bats were hot early and often. During the top of the second, BSC regained a 3-2 lead. That is when Hare was relieved by Nick Morgan with the bases loaded. BSC ended the top of the second up 7-2 after hitting a pair of RBIs and a multiple run homer. LC responded with a score from Curt Bonner after BSC lost a wild pitch. During the third, Morgan was replaced by Jack Richards on the mound. The Panthers cut the BSC lead to 7-5 in the fourth when Colby Zinser and Adam Dorn each hit RBI singles. In the fifth, Richards was relieved of his pitching duties  by Eli Folds. Going into the eighth, BSC still held a 7-5 lead. Folds would be switched out for Benjamin Epperley. In the top of the inning, BSC extended the lead to 8-5 after a wild pitch allowed their base runner to score. The BSC Panthers held on to with 8-5.

Panther Pitchers
Junior Caden Hare pitched in one inning. He finished the day with one strikeout and five runs on five hits.
In the second inning, junior Nick Morgan came in to relieve Hare. In one inning, he allowed two runs on four hits.
Senior Jack Richards came in during the third inning. In two innings, he had one strikeout and allowed one hit.
Richards was replaced on the mound during the fifth by sophomore Eli Folds. In two innings pitched, Folds finished with two strikeouts and did not let up a hit or run. 
Senior Benjamin Epperley closed out the game for the Panthers. In two innings pitched, he had three strikeouts with two hits and one allowed run.

Next up
The team hits the road to face Covenant College in a three-game CCS series. Game one is Friday (March 29) at 3 p.m. and the series closes out with a Saturday doubleheader. Day two's first pitch is at 12 p.m.
