Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 . LC Softball dropped two games to Point University in a home doubleheader (March 13). They lost the first game 6-0 and game two 11-1.

Game one details
Kelsea Moody started on the mound for the Panthers. Moody has just pitched in one inning this season prior to today. In the first, Point went up 1-0 after an LC error in third allowed a Skyhawk to score. The game stayed at 1-0 until another Panther error let a baserunner come home. The top of the second finished with Point up 2-0. The Skyhawks added another pair of runs during the fourth and one in the fifth. After five innings, Point led 6-0. The Skyhawks went on to win 6-0. The difference in game one was Point's ability to capitalize on the three LC errors. 

Game two details
Maddie Chauvin began game two pitching for LC. Chauvin is 0-3 this season and has an ERA of 4.71. The Skyhawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. In the second, Point extended their lead to 8-0. The Skyhawks loaded the bases early in this inning and were able to take advantage of it. In the third, LC scored one run off of an inside the park home run. The game would end after five innings with the Skyhawks up 11-1.

Panther pitchers
Sophomore Kelsea Moody pitched in all seven innings during game one. She struck out four batters, allowed eight hits and six runs. 
Freshman Maddie Chauvin started game two for the Panthers. In four innings, she finished the day with 12 allowed hits and 11 runs.
Sophomore Claire Chamberlain closed out game two for the Panthers. In one inning, she had one strikeout and did not let the Skyhawks score.
