Berry College jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first. This came off of a sacrifice fly RBI deep into right center. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the first,
Jorge Fragoso crushed the ball past the glove of the pitcher and into center, driving in a pair of Panthers.
Adam Dorn came up next and hit another base runner home on a single to center, putting LC up 3-1. With a runner on third and first,
Gabriel Pallo placed a bunt down the third baseline just far enough for him to make it to first before getting thrown out and allowing another runner to score. LC would extend their lead to 5-1 after a wild throw let a Panther walk home. The Panthers ended the first up 6-1 thanks to a sacrifice RBI from
Noah Preuer to close out the scoring this inning. The game stayed at 6-1 until a wild pitch by Willis allowed the Berry base runner to come home in the third. The first LC batter, Brody Hollinsworth, began the bottom of the inning by sending a Berry pitch to the moon for his second homer this year. Still in the third,
Jackson McElvy drove an LC base runner home on a double to left. The Panthers finished the third inning with an 8-2 lead. In the fourth,
