Box Score Panthers Baseball falls to BSC 9-0 in the first game of the three-day Alabama trip (Feb. 23). Nine different LC pitchers got an opportunity to play tonight.

Ethan Fry started on the mound for the Panthers today. In game one of the three-day tournament, LC Baseball fell into a 2-0 deficit early on. In the bottom of the first, Birmingham-Southern jumped out with a two-point lead after a double to center brought in two runners. BSC scored another two runs in the second inning off of a pair of hits that drove in base runners. In this inning,

Nash Evans. Fry finished the day with six allowed hits and four runs. Through two, BSC led 4-0. In the third inning, Birmingham-Southern's continued hitting success allowed the host Panthers to extend their lead to 7-0 after three innings. In the fourth,
Nash Evans was relieved of his pitching duties by junior
Caden Hare. Evans finished with four hits and three runs allowed as well as three strikeouts.
Caden Hare stayed in for one inning and was rotated out for senior
Slade James. Hare did not allow a hit in his one inning pitched. In the fifth, LC allowed two more runs. Like Hare,
Slade James only stayed in the game from one inning. He was replaced by senior
Benjamin Epperley. The Panther pitching rotation continued into the seventh. Epperley allowed zero hits and had two strikeouts in his inning pitched. He was relieved by the sophomore transfer from Seminole State
Evan Jackson. Jackson finished his day with zero hits and one strikeout. Senior
Hunter Garcia took over for Jackson in the eighth. Garcia had one strikeout in his inning. The Panthers would lose 9-0.
