Today (Feb. 23), LC Baseball begins their three-day road trip to Alabama with a 5 p.m. game against Birmingham-Southern. Tomorrow, the team takes on Wheaton (Ill.) at 3 p.m. Then, on Sunday at 12 p.m., the Panthers face Adrian College to close out the weekend. All three of these games are available to be streamed here.  

The teams 
LC Baseball is 4-0 and most recently beat Oglethorpe 7-4 (Feb. 20). One Panther that has found some early hitting success is junior Jorge Fragoso. With 11 at bats, the East Point, Ga. native has five hits, three runs and a hitting average of .455. Another Panther who is finding early success is senior pitcher Dalton Brooks. In five innings pitched, he has six strikeouts, allowed only three hits and has not let up any runs. Both Wheaton (Ill.) and Adrian College have yet to play a game this year. Wheaton is coming off of a 16-22 record and Adrian posted a 27-21 record last season.

Recent history 
The Panthers have not played Wheaton in recent history but did face Adrian once last year. In that game, LC won 12-3 (Feb. 28, 2023). Click here to view the full box score.
