DALTON, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's golf team competed at the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championships this week at the Dalton Country Club in Dalton, Georgia, coming in fifth place out of seven teams over the three-day event. The Panthers posted team round scores of +24 / +20 / +26 for a total of +70 for the event.
TOP PANTHERS
- LaGrange sophomore Albin Nirup (Loddekopinge, Sweden) led the way for the Panthers, coming in tied for sixth place shooting 76 (+4) / 75 (+3) / 72 (E) for a +7, his best three-round performance of the season.
- Senior Eli Rogers (Athens, Ga.) concluded his collegiate career with a 17th place finish after rounds of 75 (+3) / 76 (+4) / 82 (+10) for a +17.
- Sophomore Trey Galbraith (Lee, Fla.) tied for 19th place with a line of 80 (+8) / 78 (+6) / 80 (+8) for a total of +22.
- Freshman Lincoln McKeone (Woodstock, Ga.) concluded his rookie season with rounds of 81 (+9) / 92 (+20) / 80 (+8) for a total of +37, coming in 32nd place.
- Sophomore Brodie Mann (Columbus, Ga.) brought up the rear with a line of 93 (+21) / 79 (+7) / 89 (+17) for a total of 34th.
