JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The LaGrange College men's golf team competed at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational hosted by Oglethorpe University this past weekend at the Pinelakes Golf Course in the beautiful golden isles of Georgia's coastal region, coming in 25th place out of 30 teams.
TOP PANTHERS
- Sophomore Albin Nirup (Loddekopinge, Sweden) led the charge for LC after completing with scores of +4, -1, +1 for a combined score of +4.
- Sophomore Trey Galbraith (Lee, Fla.) wasn't far behind, finishing at +6 after posting scores of +2, +1 and +3.
- Senior Eli Rogers (Athens, Ga.) ended with a +8 over three rounds, with scores of +3, +1 and +4.
- Sophomore CJ Kilkelly posted a combined score of +8 as well, after coming in with 70, 79 and 75 strokes.
- Freshman Lincoln McKeone (Lincoln, Neb.) concluded the tournament with a +29, with scores of +7, +7 and +15.
UP NEXT
- LC returns to the links on Apr. 6-7 when they compete in the RTJ Capital Classic at the RTJ Prattville Course in Prattville, Alabama hosted by rivals Huntingdon College.
