LEXINGTON, Ky. – The LaGrange College men's golf team opened their 2026-2027 season by competing at the Transylvania Men's Fall Invitational hosted by Transylvania University this past weekend at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, coming in 15th place out of 17 teams.
TOP PANTHERS
- Junior Trey Galbraith (Lee, Fla. ) led the Panthers with rounds of 71, 77 and 70 for a total of +2, good for 27th place out of 87 participants.
- Freshman William Persson (Hovas, Sweden) had a strong showing in his debut meet, putting in rounds of 74, 78, 74 for a total of +10, placing him 62nd.
- Freshman Mason Wall (Acworth, Ga.) improved over each round, going 77, 76 and 75, totaling +12 and placing him 69th.
- Junior Stephen Jordan (Greenwich, N.Y.) posted 77, 77, 77 for a total of +15, coming in 78th.
- Freshman Brady Himes (Columbus, Ga. ) recovered from an 86 in the opening round to add 79 and 80 for a total of +29, coming in 86th.
UP NEXT
- The Panthers will compete next on October 4th when they travel to Douglasville, Georgia to play in the West Pines Collegiate.
