LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman wide receiver
Dami'on Thompson (Atlanta, Ga.) of the LaGrange College football team has been named the USA South Athletic Conference Offensive Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 21, 2025.
Thompson starred in the Panthers' 20-6 victory over visiting Centre College on Saturday, reeling in three catches for 107 yards and one score. Thompson's 88-yard reception from junior quarterback
Henry Brodnax (Newnan, Ga.) on LaGrange's first play from scrimmage of the second half was highlight of a banner day for the program.
It is Thompson's second USA South Offensive Rookie of the Week award, having previously been so recognized for week ending September 7
th.
UP NEXT
- LaGrange will be off next weekend, but they will be back on the field on Saturday, October 4th when they play host to North Carolina Wesleyan University in their USA South Conference opener. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
