LEXINGTON, Ky. - The LaGrange College men's golf team competed at the Transylvania Fall Invitational hosted by Transylvania University at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, on Saturday and Sunday, coming in 15
th place out of 19 teams. It was their first action of their non-traditional season. The Panthers' top four finished with a combined 922 strokes for a +58.
TOP PANTHERS
- LaGrange senior Eli Rogers (Athens, Ga.) led the Panthers with scores of 74/79/71 over the three rounds, totaling 224 strokes for a +8. Rogers' one-under-par during round three was by far the best round by a Panther over the weekend.
- Sophomore Trey Galbraith (Lee, Fla.) posted scores of 79/77/78 to finish with a +18.
- Freshman Lincoln McKeone (Woodstock, Ga.) had a solid start to his rookie career, with scores of 80/80/85 for a +29.
- Sophomore CJ Kilkelly posted a line of 92/79/80 for a +35.
- Freshman Johan Tesdorpf (Lidingo, Sweden) posted scores of +5 (77), +2 (74) and +2 (74).
UP NEXT
- The Panthers will compete next on October 6th and 7th when they travel to the West Pines Collegiate hosted by Oglethorpe University.
