LAGRANGE, Ga. – Freshman outside hitter 
Alex Krabs (Boynton Beach, Fla.) of the LaGrange College women's volleyball team was named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 26, 2025 in an announcement by the conference on Monday.
Krabs continued her breakout season, guiding the Panthers to victories over Huntingdon and Piedmont. Krabs collected a total of 44 kills (3.14 per set) and 46 digs (3.28 per set) across 14 sets, including four blocks and two service aces. The rookie standout posted two double-doubles on the week and currently ranks third in the CCS with 2.96 kills per set.
It is Krabs' third CCS Rookie of the Week award and her second in two weeks, having previously been recognized for weeks ending October 5
th and 19
th.
With a 9-5 record in CCS action, the Panthers are poised to claim the fourth spot in the upcoming conference playoffs.
LaGrange is back on the court on Saturday when they host Asbury and Wesleyan in a CCS tri-match.
