Week one of the LC Summer Spotlight

To kick off the LC Summer Spotlight is Goldman Butler VI. 

In 2023, Butler transferred from Northeast Mississippi Community College. The Corinth, Ms. native came to LC to finish his degree and play running back for the Panthers Football Team.

During his first season, Butler scored five touchdowns and rushed for 619 yards on 130 carries. This averages out to a stellar 4.76 yards per carry. His sturdy frame matched with his physical north and south running style makes him a nightmare for opposing defenders. Countless times last season, Butler had the crowd on their feet after trucking any would-be tackler attempting to slow him down.

Be on the lookout for big no. 9 this fall in Callaway Stadium.
