Game details
The Panthers started today's USA South matchup on fire. LC jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first after Ben Brian, Ryan Comeau, Andrew Brown and Luke Young each scored. The Pride of GC stormed back in the second, scoring four unanswered goals. LC responded with goals by Ryan Comeau and Klein Woods. The Panthers led 6-4 at half. In the third period, each team scored three goals. The LC points came from a goal by Andrew Brown, Ryan Comeau and Michael Poteete. LC continued to battle in the fourth with the visitors from N.C. With only three minutes left, the defense stepped up big to prevent GC from equalizing the game while being man down. Under a minute, GC scored on a deep shot. As time was expiring, Ben Bryan hit the game winning goal from 12 yards out. The Panthers won 11-10
Ryan Comeau finished with a team-high four points off of three goals and an assist. Johnathan Castro posted a .591 save percentage in today's 11-10 win.
