The first quarter opened with a single goal by Spalding, followed by an uninterrupted streak of seven goals in the quarter started by freshmen midfielder
Jay William Grimsley. This would be his first career goal. The Panthers continued their offense until the horn sounded, leaving them at 7-1. In the second quarter, sophomore attackman
Luke Young scored seven goals, breaking the record for most goals in a game by 1, a record that was recently matched by junior
Ryan Comeau. Luke would have 9 goals by the end of the game. This brought the score to 19-1 at the end of the half.
Second Half Details
In the third quarter, the Panthers scored six uninterrupted goals, the last of which being a first career goal for freshman faceoff specialist
Adam Jones. The Panthers ended the quarter at 25-1. In the fourth quarter, the Panthers scored a single goal via freshman midfielder
Candler Woods, another first career goal. Met with one goal from Spalding, the final score was 26-2, thanks to the up-and-coming rookies of the LC Men's Lacrosse team.
