First half details
The Panthers started today's game trading leads with the host Hawks. In the first eight minutes of the game, the lead had changed four times and was tied a handful of times. LC were able to extend their advantage to 22-17 thanks to
Ford Barnes knocking down four straight free throws on back-to-back possessions. Over the remainder of the half, the Hawks took the lead and did not look back. At the break the Hawks were up 43-29. Huntingdon secured this big lead due to the Panthers shots not falling. As a team, LC shot 29% from the field and 17% from three. In the half,
Kameron McCall scored a team-high seven points, shooting 50%.
Second half details
The Hawks continued to control the game in the second half. Each time the Panthers closed the gap, the Hawks would reestablish a 10-15 point advantage. With nine minutes left, the Hawks led 78-64. Despite being down, McCall and the other Panthers were scrapping for each point they had. The Hawks were just too much to handle for the Panthers tonight. Huntingdon won 100-81.
Top Panther Performance
Kameron McCall scored a team-high 24 points, shooting 50% from the floor. The freshman guard also grabbed five rebounds.
