First half details
The Panthers offense scored early and often in today's matchup against the Skyhawks. LC would take a 5-2 lead going into the second quarter thanks to a pair of
Luke Young goals and three other Panthers scoring goals. LC continued to find the net in the second period.
Ryan Comeau secured two more goals and an assist in the second to push LC up 10-6 at half. Comeau finished the first half with a team-high four points on three goals and an assist.
Second half details
The Skyhawks found most of the success in the third quarter, outscoring the Panthers 5-2. Going into the fourth LC held a slight 12-11 advantage over the hosts. The Panthers would respond in the fourth quarter, scoring four answered goals. Two of these came from
Luke Young. Young would finish the game with a Panther-high four goals on the day. LC would hold on to win 17–12. Senior
Lucas Webb was in goal for the Panthers in today's win over Point. The Woodstock, Ga. native finished with 10 saves.
