Box Score BEREA, Ky. - LaGrange bounced back from a loss at Piedmont with a 103-97 overtime win over Berea in the Seabury Center on Saturday. The Panthers improved to 5-14 overall and 4-8 in USA South play. LC avenged an earlier 92-77 loss to the Mountaineers (9-9, 5-6 USA South) on Jan. 18.
The Panthers got a career-high 25 points each from Lincoln Anderson and Henry Blair. Anderson also pulled down a career-high 15 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season. Julian Cameron added 20 points. LC had three players score 20 points in a game for the first time since beating Averett in the USA South semifinals Feb. 24, 2017.
Coach Kendal Wallace:
"We played really well today. When we didn't get stops or make certain plays, we stayed positive. We also did a great job on rebounding as several guys had 5 or more. In overtime we were able to share the ball having 4 of our 18 assists come on almost every score other than the free throws. We needed this win today and our guys played together and went out and got it. I'm very proud of how we played today."
