LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN, Ga. - LaGrange improved its record to 4-1 with a 69-55 win at Covenant on Wednesday.

Patrick Dugger led a balanced scoring attack for the Panthers with 12 points. Dustin Baxter hit 3-of-4 3s and finished with 11 points, while Denzel Robinson had 10 points. Marcus Vaughn pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds.

Joey Danek and Rosbie Mutcherson combined for 37 of Covenant's 55 points. Danek had a game-high 21 points, while Mutcherson had 16.

Covenant led 8-4 early in the first half. A layup by Dugger and a 3 from Baxter put the Panthers up 9-8 and they never trailed again.

The Scots got within three, 25-22, on a jumper by Colton McGriff with 7:08 left in the half. The Panthers held the Scots scoreless from there, finishing the half with a 12-0 run.

Braxton Ford made a steal and scored on a layup at the other end to make it 35-22. Robinson closed out the first half scoring with a layup to make it 37-22.

Covenant never got closer than 10 points in the second half. Dugger's layup gave the Panthers their largest lead, 56-37, with 9:54 left.

The Panthers play at Huntingdon on Saturday.
