LAGRANGE, Ga. – In just their first seasons of collegiate competition, freshman
Ryheem Mighten (Kingston, Jamaica) and freshman
A'mya Hill (Fitzgerald, Ga.) of the LaGrange College track and field program were recognized as All-Region honorees for the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season as announced this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The two become the first two Panthers in school history to be so recognized, in the program's first season of existence.
Mighten made All-Region in both the men's 200-meter and 400-meter dash events, making the top eight in the South region as well as establishing school records in four different events this indoor season. Mighten had 21.55 in the men's 200-meter dash at the USC Invitational on February 21
st, a 34.58 in the 300-meter dash at the Gamecock Invitational and a 48.59 in the 40-meter dash, again at the USC Invitational. He was also part of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that set a school-record in the Gamecock Invitational with a time of 3:31.27.
Hill made All-Region in the women's 60-meter dash, an event she dominated as she set and went on to break her own LaGrange record four times during the indoor season. Hill finished with a time of 7.80 in the USC Invitational.
With the conclusion of their indoor season, the Panthers now open their outdoor season. They compete next at the Emory Spring Break Challenge next Friday and Saturday, March 20
th to the 21
st.
