LAGRANGE, Ga. – Junior guard Devin Dowell (LaGrange, Ga.) of the LaGrange College men's basketball team was named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Player of the Week in an announcement by the conference on Monday.

Dowell powered LaGrange to a 2-1 week averaging 17.0 points per game while totaling 51 points across three contests, shooting 20-of-40 from the field and 9-of-20 from three-point range. The junior guard added six rebounds, six assists, and two steals during the stretch, while averaging 20 minutes per game.

For the season, Dowell is leading the Panthers with a 14.5 points per game average and 35.5 percent shooting from behind the arc.

Dowell is the second Panther to earn CCS Player of the Week honors, joining teammate sophomore forward Kani Rashied-Henry (Tyrone, Ga.) who was previously recognized for the week ending November 16^th.

LaGrange is back on the court Tuesday when they travel to Piedmont University for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff after the initial contest was rescheduled from Jan 27th.
