LC Men's Lacrosse Team suffered a significant loss against the Lions by 20 goals, setting their record to 6-8.
First half details
The Panthers were challenged from the start as the Piedmont Lions scored nine goals in the first half. This was interrupted by a single goal from junior midfielder
Ryan Comeau. In the second quarter, the Panthers were bombarded once more with 10 uninterrupted goals, bringing the score to 1-19.
Second half details
The third quarter was an initial volley of goals scored back and forth between the Lions and Senior Panthers
Michael Poteete and
Klein Woods. With only seven total goals in the quarter between the teams, the score was 3-24. In the fourth quarter, the Panthers hit the ground running with three goals, one of which was from sophomore attackman
Aiden Psalmonds. The following three goals from the Panthers were scored by sophomore attackman
Nicholas Murciano, his first hat-trick of the season.
