Women’s Golf Opens Season at TWU

VONORE, Tenn. – The LaGrange College women's golf team opened their 2026-2027 season competing at the TWU Fall Classic hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan University this past weekend at the Links at Kahite in Vonore, Tennessee, coming in seventh place out of seven teams.

TOP PANTHERS

Junior Alexa Fontanez (Columbus, Ga.) led the Panthers, finishing tied for twelfth place among 38 competitors with scores of 84 and 83 for a +23 overall.
Junior Emma McCoy (Carrollton, Ga.) had stroke totals of 93 and 97 for a +46, good for 34^th place.
Sophomore Addison Gibboney (Kennesaw, Ga.) had strokes of 94 and 99, coming in 36^th place with a +49.
Sophomore Addison Hegwood-Anderson (Summerville, Ga.) finished with a +51 with rounds of 98 and 97, coming in 37^th.

UP NEXT

The Panthers will compete next on October 31^st when they play at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational hosted by Berry College.
