LAGRANGE, Ga. – The LaGrange College women's golf team started their spring season at the Point University Spring Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Highlands Country Club in LaGrange, Georgia.
 
TOURNAMENT SUMMARY

• Sophomore Alexa Fontanez (Columbus, Ga.) led the Panthers in round one with a score of 92, finishing the second with a slightly improved score of 90 to conclude play at +38.
• Sophomore Emma McCoy (Carrollton, Ga.) had a score of 104 in the first round before bouncing back in the second by shooting a 91 to finish at +52.
• Freshman Addison Gibboney (Kennesaw, Ga.) similarly posted a first round score of 104 before finishing with a shot less in the second at 103. Her final score would be +63.
• Freshman Addison Hegwood-Anderson (Summerville, Ga.) had strokes of 105 and 121 for a +82 finish.

• The Panthers will compete next in the South Georgia Invitational hosted by Berry College at the Savannah Country Club in Savannah, Ga. on Mar. 9-10.
